Each day for the next 28 I will be counting down to The Ultimate Doctor Who Art Auction 2012, each day showing off one of the awesome items
donated for the auction.
First up is an iconic figure in the modern Dr Who series (though of course he also starred in the unofficial films as well). Bernard Cribbins aka Wilfred Mott, endeared himself to Doctor Who fans from his first appearance before earning a permanant recurring role and then ultimately proving to the be the downfall of The Tenth Doctor.
His drawing represents his character, showing a telescope pointing at the skies, as he himself was doing in his first defined appearance as Wilf, in “Partners in Crime”. The drawing is created in black marker on white 8×5 card, and signed with “(Wilfred Mott) Astronomer” added beneath.
It’s a brilliant item to start the auction countdown with, please tune back in tomorrow to see what is next
